Rhythm In Air

Once upon a time, I was unsure,

Of how to let my feelings roar.

But then I found a way to share,

Through rhyme and rhythm in the air.

I learned that poetry is a tool,

To help me process, cope, and cool.

Emotions that I couldn't say,

Could flow out freely in this way.

Through poetry, I found my voice,

And realized I had a choice.

To make my thoughts and feelings heard,

In a way that truly stirred.

Poetry is also meditative,

A way to clear my mind's sedative.

It slows me down and helps me see,

The beauty in each moment's spree.

In rhyme and verse, I found a friend,

A way to heal and make amends.

Poetry is my sanctuary,

And brings me peace quite contrary.

So cheers to poetry, my dear,

A medium that's always near.

A way to share, a way to grow,

A gift that keeps on giving, I know.
