Exhilaration
Feeling hard to explain
It was an exhilarating thrill,
To express myself with skill.
The words flowed like a river,
As I let my emotions quiver.
Each line had a satisfying ring,
Making my heart and soul sing.
The rhythm was just right,
As I wrote late into the night.
The words danced on the page,
Like actors on a grand stage.
It was a feeling hard to explain,
But there was no need to contain.
For this was my art,
And it came straight from the heart.
Expressing myself in this way,
Was the best way to end my day.
