Rest is the figment of our imagination

It’s a dream

A fantasy.

It’s needed

It’s a big part of our lives to be healthy

Except for people on the bottom of the totem pole

It’s considered lazy if taken

There world is constantly going

There works is constantly running

While the 1 percent screams, if you want success all you have to do is work!

All you have to do is get an education!

Everything is work, work, work

But still everything stands still...

Our body learns to paint the picture of energy.

But deep down inside its crumbling.

It’s trying to fight from not shutting down.

All it wants is rest...

But How?

The world we live in is so fast pace.

If a break is taken,

Will the rent wait for us....

Will the Mortgage wait for .....

Will the Groceries wait for us....

Will Daycare wait for us....

Our essential needs....

The cars we drive...

Medical bills....

It’s a joke!

There is no time to rest...

It’s why our feet become numb....

It’s why our hands have blisters....

It’s why our minds keeps pushing....

It’s why our back aches in agony...

It’s why our stress never stops stressing...

It’s why hearts stop beating....

Rest......

Haaaaa......

Rest is the figment of our imagination!

It’s what the top believe we should have,

But don’t give the privilege...

Don’t want to understand our backgrounds.

Don’t want to understand the struggle

Don’t want to understand not having food to feed your kids

Don’t want to understand not having enough to pay medical bills

Don’t want understand the reality of the way the world works

Rest is the figment of our imagination!
