Resolution, a promise made

To oneself, with a heart full of hope

To start anew, to break from the past

To let go of habits that do not last

It's the courage to change what we can

To be better, to take a stand

To be kinder, to show more love

To rise above, what may come from above

It's the determination to try

To reach higher, to touch the sky

To follow dreams, to make a change

To rearrange what once seemed strange

It's the will to succeed

To plant the seed of hope we need

To grow stronger, to overcome

To become what we've always wanted

So hold on tight, to your Resolution

For it holds the key to your revolution

And though the journey may be tough

With each step, you'll show your stuff
