The simple vibration made me jump every time. I heard it so many times and imagined it more.
Relocated back to the invisible void where forgotten things go to wait, hoping for another chance to feel, all of the things uncertainty wouldn’t allow before.
What would you give to feel it once again?
Not good enough for anything other than what you have already been told.
How did you let yourself get so very entrapped by a feeling you didn’t even know you were capable of having anymore?
It wasn’t an easy thing, letting go of all you have been, many tried more failed.
The thought of failure, regret and power all worked together to tell you a story you had heard before, repeating to your self every night in hopes of seeing it through in your dreams.
Not knowing what is real. Was it real?
Or had I imagined it, that never ending feeling that crept inside of me.
Time is long
I’ve lived without it before, keeping me toasty warm for so many nights.
Unsure if now I’ll ever be able to go back to a life that is predicated on the fact that there was no you.
But there was.
Please, stay, don’t take away the whole to all the pieces that were claimed so long ago, unaware that I had been marked, for things yet to come.
In the Silence I wait, where I’ve waited all along.
Done never.
Over it, never.
Resigned myself to the fact that there is no release in you, you will never go away.
I will carry you forever, you can keep your unspoken claim, it was yours all along.
The power that you wielded, the control you have. Keep it, you’re not getting mine back.
