Reservation - such an ominous word,
Cuts the Talent's throat without a sword.
Write your name and your caste,
You are sure to be an outcast.
O God ! Please save my Country.
Reservation in admission, IIT or MBA,
Read hard, yet you can't be a CS or CA,
The midnight oil burnt in vain,
To crack the CS Prelims or Main.
O God ! Please save my Country.
The most surprising thing you heard,
Like the story of a coward,
Reservation in MBBS? Can't help lose your trust,
Your life is only in the hands of God.
O God ! Please save my Country.
Jobs through Public Service Commission,
It's all a matter of top Reservation,
Talent on road and fixing in chair,
May God keep the youths out of despair !
O God ! Please save my Country.
May light dispel the darkness !
May hope prevail over despair !
May this evil system be abolished !
May Talent shine over the unpolished !
Only then, can I say, "Thanks God ! Thanks a lot !"

This is for RM Stockton's Write Club prompt for the month of April: AI Please allow me to vent. For "college," I went to a scam school that is now closed. We were promised internships that were never spoken of again after admissions, and we were promised help finding jobs. The first time I went to the career counselor's office, she was completely frazzled. She had no idea what to do with us, the film majors. The second time I visited her office, I let her know that I'd found myself a job, and she was visibly relieved.
