Remember

We

By Gregory AndersonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Remember when the world seemed ok

We had problems while the kids played

At times we didn’t share the same views

Angst rose and gave teenagers the blues

A pivotal point where did our world stray

Hate grows and holds true justice at bay

Litigate society simply for things we say

A world striving solely for likes and ok’s

Differences which separate you from me

Have we yet learned from our own history

Train up a child in the way which to go

Abstain from hate and allow love to flow

Society is in battle and we have far to go

Let common ground be the seed to sow
