It'll be a hundred degrees today,

But the sun will once again rise.

I woke to light glaring through the blinds,

So I guess I still have my eyes.

I see the bills are due, yet again,

'Cause we have water and power.
The gas is on too, so I don't have

To freeze my ass in the shower.

Speaking of gas, the price at the pump
Is higher than my aunt on pot
But there's no need to go anywhere,

So we're ok with what we've got.

It's a bit crowded here on the couch,

But I always have company.

A loving wife and two faithful dogs

Sit here every day with me.

All things considered, life could be worse
And I can't complain much, you see.
It isn't about the staus quo,

It's about relativity.

Just a little something I've ben thinking about. I hope you enjoy the read. Please, don't forget to leave a like and comment, and of course, if you haven't:
