Reflections

Sometimes the best parts of ourselves are reflected in those whom love us

The way you look at me.

Do you see it in my eyes?

Can you see what I see?

That if I could stop time.

I would in a heart beat.

Just to hold your hand in mine.

If you peer through me and in too deep.

That you've filled the landscape of my mind.

I wish the world could see.

The woman perfect in her flaws as I do.

Then nothing could ever hurt you.

In my eyes do you see naught but affection.

Can you read my heart in your reflection?

About the Creator

Chris Santiago

I've always found a bit peace and release in putting word to written medium. I'm by no means an accomplished wordsmith but I find enjoyment in it. My love for writing started from world building that being a dungeon master provided.
