Redemption Haiku

Unravel me slow

Hidden traumas are scalpels

That bleed lightest touch

Unkempt scared and small

Never spoke a word at all

Resigned pain that wall

*

Uncoil unfasten

All places bereft of light

Feast on photon beams

*

Unmasked unheard fears

Neglected bitter cried tears

Buried sorrow years

*

Unmet places merge

Conduct icebreaker sessions

Find symbiosis

*

Understood yearning

Delays are still concerning

Patience now learning

*

Air is death to damp

Stench and decay disappear

Breaths this deep are pure

*

My eyes never close

Long slept I in darkened woes

Am now one who knows

*

Hands that took their time

Gentle hands that slid in mine

Hands that don’t let go

*

Laughter in my chest

Grins and giggles all in jest

Peace is sweetest rest
