GROUND MEAT DISH

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef or lamb
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium heat.
  • Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
  • Add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  • Add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
  • Add 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • Add 500g ground beef or lamb and mix well with the onion-tomato mixture.
  • Cook the meat until it is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
  • Add 1 tsp garam masala and mix well.
  • Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the meat is cooked and the masala is thick, turn off the heat.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
  • Your delicious Keema is now ready to serve! Enjoy!
