Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef or lamb
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium heat.
- Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
- Add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
- Add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
- Add 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add 500g ground beef or lamb and mix well with the onion-tomato mixture.
- Cook the meat until it is no longer pink, stirring frequently.
- Add 1 tsp garam masala and mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the meat is cooked and the masala is thick, turn off the heat.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
