Farewell, the wrongest of the reasons.

The wind has brought the change of seasons

And thunder clapping like a gun -

Just like the summer, you are gone.

We did whatever was allowed,

The sun has hid behind the cloud

Instead of shyly turning red;

You were perfection born and bred.

We knew it would not last forever;

You were too strange, I was too clever,

And then the other way around -

In for a penny, not a pound.

For those who don’t deserve the light

The quiet nights are just as bright.
