Sometimes I just accept
I let my body sink into the truth
I deal with the side effects
Of being without you
Without your kiss
The birds don’t sing
Trying to move on from this
Yet you’re still in my dreams
The way we would embrace
Passion pouring from our core
The touch would soothe my aches
I assumed our love could endure
All of my atoms call to you
Needing to look into your eyes
Not knowing what I can do
To put our stars back in the sky
