Reality

Acceptance of my history

Sometimes I feel as if there were a scarlet letter tatooed on my chest.

Maybe thats what that pain is from.

Instead of something new I attract more of the same.

Searching for love,

For protection,

Provision.

Finding only misconception,

Lies,

Deceit.

Downpours and windfalls,

But again its only a game right?

I need to be removed from the matrix,

Stripped bare,

Shown for the reality that is I!

No pretty colors to distract.

No fancy clothing to hide.

Exposing that 12yr old girl trapped in bondage,

Stolen from her youth.

I know why my caged bird sings -

As a release and distraction to the weight of the cross I must bear.
