Reach

For you

Oblivion, his body gone;

An instant visceral storm

that has spread beyond

all reason,

to the outer rims of loved and known.

Your face your voice

all you just you,

a faintness washed

across us.

Never enough can fill

what remains, fleet memories

cannot quench us.

A realisation I’m gone too-

into the veiled grey;

entrapped by choice

I kowtow low,

a swift fell whip,

allows me go

and leaves no urge to sate.

We meet amongst the ether,

amidst a mass of stars.

Your eyes they shine

a smile,

your embrace I cling for ours

is a love that binds for always,

it cannot cut this tie,

eternally connected for

your love is my love is mine.
