Rambling Reflections of a Chaotic Mind
Who Am I?

Who am I?
The more I learn, the more I unlearn.
The more I know, the more I don’t know.
I “found my truth” but lost myself.
How does that work?
I must have fallen victim to
The dystopian veil;
A curtain of shadows draped over truths,
Lies accenting what lies right in front of us…
Until the illusion becomes so real,
Reality becomes distorted.
So does my mind…
My perception…
Me…
Everyone…
It’s all distorted…
What a beautifully hideous sight.
No wonder I feel so disoriented…
I’m stuck repetitively walking circles in a seemingly endless maze of confusion.
No wonder I feel so used…
Books, once treasured, are now discarded;
My tattered, worn pages aren’t from that of love.
No wonder I feel so tired…
I am running on fumes, smoke billowing from within,
Further polluting my environment.
Yet I persistently run amok,
Further provoking
The chaos living inside my head.
Who am I?
I am a delicate flower with poisonous thorns.
I am enlightened with confusion.
My mind, a running contradiction of
The most loathing self-love;
A mere facade that is both comforting and cutting…
Love doesn’t live here anymore.
Or does it?
A distant echo, a haunting yet healing whisper…
Does it persist?
Yes, it does.
No, it doesn’t.
Yes, it does.
I love you…
I hate you…
I…AM…you…
Your enemy; your “truth.”
Your web of distortions woven so tightly around yourself…
A seemingly inescapable chaos created by the chaos of your mind.
Who am I?
I am the question that can’t be answered…
Or perhaps it was buried long ago,
Lost among other forgotten dreams
And alongside other unfortunate souls…
Or maybe I’ll never truly know…
