Raindrops' Dance

The Window Stage

The clouds convene, a whispered huddle,

Gray giants plotting on the puddle.

A first drop falls, a shy hello,

Tiptoeing down, a silent flow.

Then another joins, a playful friend,

They race and prance, the windowpane their stage to ascend.

A hundred tiny dancers light,

A drumming beat on windowpane so bright.

Some whirl and twirl in joyous glee,

Leaving streaks, a sparkling sea.

Others slow and soft descend,

Like tears a weeping willow sends.

They tap a rhythm on the glass,

A melody that seems to pass

Through every raindrop, big or small,

A symphony for one and all.

The wind, a mischievous maestro's hand,

Swirls them faster, a merry band.

They chase and dodge, a playful fight,

A fleeting dance beneath the fading light.

Then silence falls, the sun peeks through,

Diamonds scattered, sparkling new.

The stage is clear, the dancers gone,

But echoes linger, of a joyful song.
