Raindrops are falling

RAINY DAY

By Matheesha FernandoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The sky is dressed in a somber shroud, The gray clouds gather and they crowd, Above the land, a misty veil, The drops of life start to unveil.

Rain, rain, tender and soft, Falling down, without a cough, Every droplet, a precious gem, Sparkling bright, like a true diadem.

Nature rejoices with each drop, The flowers dance, eager to pop, The birds sing a melodious tune, Their wings spread, beneath the moon.

The trees sway, to the rhythm of the rain, The wind blows, a wild and untamed strain, The earth churns, with its hungry thirst, An endless cycle, of nourishment first.

The rain descends, like a divine force, A symbol of love, an eternal source, Of life, of beauty, of endless grace, A wondrous sight, in nature’s space.
