Raindrops and tears
I learn to hide my tears. I do my crying in silence alone

Raindrops and tears
Raindrops slide down the glass,
they blur what I see.
Like my thoughts,
that slip away,
before I can hold them.
I sit quiet with heavy eyes,
watching the water,
as if it understands
the silence I cannot explain.
Tears feel the same,
falling when I do not ask them,
rising when I try to be strong.
They betray me,
the way my mind does.
I hide my thoughts,
my fears, and my pain.
I bury them deep,
where no one can reach.
But the tears remain,
with each drop of rain.
Inside me there is weight,
a shadow that will not lift.
Yet outside the world
keeps shining,
as if nothing is wrong.
I am caught between the storm,
and the calm I beg for.
My heart aching for light,
yet soaking in sorrow,
like the glass covered in rain.
Maybe one day,
the clouds will break,
and my tears will slow.
But tonight,
I only sit with the raindrops,
and let them cry for me too.
