The color of blue is in all of us
And when we get cut we bleed out red.
Keppel colors have their own day in March and the land we stand on.
Every now and then there can be seen the diversity where
Pride is a long forgotten word but celebrated by many.
Remember where you come from
Inside a parents' womb in which
Dark meets light and white skin eventually tans to darker colors.
Every time you see a stranger
Invite them in with a hospitality known and
Not of hostility towards things we do not understand.
We are all the same.
Hazel are the eyes in which I see the world and
Orange is both the color I eat and feel a warmth.
Yellow are the skins of my ancestors who traveled
Over mountains, hills, and oceans to get to
Unknown territory, where they were once welcomed with open arms.
Anyone with a heartbeat can connect to the Indigo- Violet from a hospital.
Roots are everywhere from a tree to a family where pride in
Everyone is everything.
