How to Survive a Cruise for About 3 Days
Being on a boat is absolutely relaxing. That's only if you know what to do and on your journey there are no major setbacks. My family and I have been on numerous trips and have been on numerous boats. My mother personally has tried nearly every line: Carnival, Princess, Norwegian (my step-father's least favorite), Disney, and Royal Caribbean (which is her personal favorite). But why can being on a boat be special? What has to be done to set sail and relax as easy-peasy-bahama-mama fresh squeazy? Here are a couple of tips and tricks for an in-and-out of sea experience that anyone can accomplish on vacay.

Voodoo
Seth sat with his friends in the schoolyard of Standard High after the last period of the day. Friday was the best as it consisted of nothing but the sunshine and breeze of the upcoming weekend- free of all things school-related. The three of them had their backs facing away from the school and were chatting about pretty much everything that came to mind- from music to videogames, even about siblings. Ron sat on his left, a guitar in his lap, playing chords. Jordan sat on his right with an empty notepad and pencil, completely distracted by their conversation rather than jotting down lyrics for their supposed song for their new band.

Clock Record
January 6, 2121 My name is Gloria. I had found this diary not too long ago; around when the world was starting to end. At least it seems this way. I am the last of my family members... and one of the survivors out of eight individuals I have met on my travels to help in finding more. Along with this diary, I had also found tissue papers, a bar of soap, and a checkered hair ribbon- all things that may have belonged to a deceased young woman. The house was abandoned most likely a week ago as we ransacked for leftovers.

Pride
Everyone enjoys music. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. Music seems to bring out the colors of everybody no matter who listens. With Pride month on the rise, artists and supporters around the globe will share their favorite tunes, embrace the peace, and the love everyone knows how to offer the best that they can. Enough said; let's let Can share her favorite tunes to jam to for pride (see below):

Coming of Anxiety
The author remembers her days glued to the headset as if her life depended on it. She obviously wasn't the only one. Throughout middle school and the beginning of high school was a wicked rollercoaster that was not something that could be easy to get off of. Here, we talk about the feelings of mixed rage and loneliness; the realization that life doesn't get any easier. The missing of nap times from whence we were little and the happiness of blissful ignorance that comes between the ages of newborn and twelve. The headset and music players used should be a right of passage every teenager gets to isolate themselves and their world from encroaching baddies (siblings, parents, conforming adults, etc.). This is my personal playlist that ultimately molded me and had helped get through A LOT:

Merle
The afternoon sun spread its warmth on Honey's face and arms as it started to die down in the West. The light's reflection shimmered down her sleek black dress in a elegantly formal attire that she only ever dreamed of wearing once long ago. The dress she wore complimented her heels and bright red lipstick, her golden hair held up in diamond pins to match her earrings. The lightheaded feelings she was experiencing did not ease the butterflies in her stomach when she took a step forth onto her front porch to meet her date.

The Mystery of the Akashic Records
The definition of insanity is the repetition of doing something over and over again. It’s considered a coincidence when a single train of thought, action, or theme pops up instantaneously. Déjà vu in society today is commonly known as “just a coincidence”. It’s an occurring phenomenon in which individuals believe they have experienced a certain experience once or twice before in the past. This leads to the main question: where does the past, present, and future go when their paths are thus determined, if they exist at all? Only one idea has been created and circulated throughout the course of history. The name of this theory is fairly new and had been only coined in the late 19th century. It is called the Akashic Record Theory. The Akashic Record Theory’s existence is true, due to the beliefs and opinions of individual Theosophists, its connection across religions, as well as its anecdotal accounts across time itself.

Holding On
There is approximately 7.8 billion people on our planet as of the end of 2020 and still counting. Even with our unique traits and personalities do we share common ground between a multitude of things: music, toppings, literature- everything with multiple categories and genres that are classified separately and yet, unite us together. Just like the myriad of stars in the sky, we paint ourselves in at least twelve categories of the universe examined ever since Babylonian astronomy. The path of the stars somehow interpret our futures, and yet, if only we believe.
