Rage Against the Machine
A Poem Against AI
I won’t let AI make me give up on my dreams
In the arts and literature, isn’t it a scream
They’re trying to reproduce the human heart and soul
But I suppose that is the ultimate goal
Of all these bots and this machinery
All this coding and Hollywood trickery
To replace the human element with cheap robotic labor
But it won’t win them the audience’s favor
The cookie-cutter plots and worn-out themes
The flat character arcs and predictable schemes
Readers and viewers don’t want what’s memorized
To be lost in a stupor, moronically hypnotized
They want to be lost in the page, in the screen
To find something that actually means
Something to them and their humanity
Something to confirm or bend their sanity
Something AI will never do—
Oh, wouldn’t that be quite the coup!
No, now is not the time to fret
I will not give up on my writing dreams, not yet.

AI will never replace a human in regard to creative writing, thankfully! There's too much nuance (at least I hope they won't!)
I won't be giving up either! Let's fight together!
