Detail From The Cover Of The Utopia Album

Introduction

You learn something new every day and today I learned that my Muse was enthralled by Egypt, its history and mythology. I had been listening to "Ra" by Todd Rundgren's Utopia and thought this would be a great subject for a villanelle.

I have included "Overture: Mountaintop and Sunrise / Communion with the Sun" the opening song from the album to set the mood.

At the end of this is Bob Dylan's "Isis" a wife of Ra
