Quiet Messengers, For Bren
A robin lets me know your near

Quiet Messengers, For Bren
Bren, I know the silence grows,
in ways the outside never shows.
A year has passed, yet still it stays,
that quiet ache within my days.
Your voice still lingers, soft and near,
in little things you held so dear.
A laugh remembered, warm and true,
the world still carries traces through.
The days can feel so long to bear,
the nights more heavy in their care.
Yet something shifts I cannot see,
a presence moving quietly.
A single feather finds its place,
as if it drifted there with grace.
No reason why, no sound, no sign,
yet somehow feels like more than time.
A robin lingers, calm and still,
as if it waits against your will.
It does not rush, it does not stray,
just stays a while, then slips away.
These gentle moments, small yet true,
may carry something just for you.
Not loud, not certain, not to prove,
but quiet echoes shaped by love.
Bren you are gone from sight, it’s clear,
yet a little Robin shows me your near.
Within my days, in all I do,
my world still finds a way to you.
