inside: Pyrovia
the catastrophic blistering, angry pyre that built me up
Now, it is lit high up inside of my mouth instead of in my gut
When something happens that is injustice toward someone, my mouth fires out before I think
Sutured up wounds that open to bleed until the heat closes up again
Danger, the flames cannot settle
Ignitia: my idea that yesterday’s Full Moon
Raged inside of my bleeding womanhood first
Giving my woman parts the grandeur of cinderix
Ash and heat that gradually coarsed into tickling my spine (laughing like I was twisted into a RedVine candy listening to Bewitched by Laufey)
With tendrils of Gospel fires that twisted, transformed, deadened my mind
To the existential moroseness of feeling so light in a heavy body
I cannot die if I have sinned without fear
Yet my body aches to transform like a flame does to glass
I know I must not succumb to the flames
I froze, tears slimming down my dark watery pyre
Into dark soot
(Stay by Rihanna broke it all down)
I was born as a conflagration
Searing, rampant,
Burning bright like hell was inside of me all along
Panic in Flames
Gripping like a hand from Hades
Leasing heaven for a small, soft reprieve
I could not afford to get rid of my flame inside
Deep, ravaging—-the gears inside heat to millions of degrees as of a dying star
Yet I would never create anything perfect enough to startle the flames into
Love.
