No more today
my mind shoved into gray and dirty spaces
tragedy of filthy drama
for everyone's sake
leave off
cease pulling my thoughts into overflowing sewers
of memories of today before
my heart feels raw and I'm tired of pain
it's infected with boredom
only this is my promise
what's there roiling in the slime
will be brighted so hard
blown so straight up
it will scatter and dispurse in the dust
of the unending
rested in the land of gone forever everywhere
made into dirt that feeds my ancient trees
cleansed in sands of every ocean rolling
come back into the shine one day
we can share a smile miles away..
