Pulling Thread

March 10, 2014

Unraveling,

Tugged at,

Having not been together

In the first place.

Torn,

To shreds,

No way to sew

The pieces, to unite.

Lost,

My mind

Never intact, only, only,

An illusion, a delusion.

Can’t,

It hurts

To try for so

Long, it must end.

Over

My head

I wore this sweater,

Put on the cover.

Dimensions

Are wrong,

Height, width, depth, stitched

By the devil itself.

Third

Degree burns

Have seared it to

My body, my skin.

I

Don’t know

Who I am or

Where I will go.

This

Face, this,

Being before you, me,

It is not mine.

Now,

That a

Thread is pulled, I

Find that I unravel.

Since

I am

This deformed article, my

Whole self will collapse.

See

Before you,

What once was, never

Truly had been real.

Destruction;

I pulled

My own line, time

To cut the thread…
