Prying eyes, always watching

Never ceasing, never stopping

Eager to see, to know, to judge

Their gaze, a constant nudge

I try to hide, to shield, to protect

But their eyes, they never neglect

To peek and pry, to dig and delve

My secrets, they cannot be shelved

I long for privacy, for solitude

But these prying eyes, they intrude

I am but a mere spectacle

For their curious eyes to speculate

I am but a mere puppet on a string

For their entertainment, their fling

But I will not be their plaything

I will break free from their prying

Eyes will close, and I'll be free

No longer a victim of scrutiny

I'll live my life, true and real

Away from their prying eyes, a seal.
