Proud Men

"Unyielding Towers of Stubbornness"

"Proud Men"

_______By Aranna Hasan Delwar.

I cry too, I cry too

Not in front of everyone, hidden

Men cry secretly

They also suffer,

The heat of pain burns them too.

Satya soaked his clothes in sweat

Sometimes wet with tears

Men feel lonely too

He also suffers from loneliness

Unspoken language behind the smile

It is not to be understood.

Men are also abused

His dreams are also shattered

Thrown in the dustbin

He also has to give up many things

In the circus cage called Sansara

Men also have to show their game.

Purush means the port of happiness

Such thinking is wrong

Men also suffer from infertility

He also has stories that wake him up at night

There is time to sink into darkness.

Men should be allowed to cry and be vulnerable without being judged for it. Loved your poem!
