Dust of Oblivion

The Fading Echoes of Memory

By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 3 months ago 1 min read

Dust of Oblivion"

______By Aranna Hasan Delwar.

One day I will disappear leaving behind all the busyness,

Acquaintances, relatives will reminisce in a tone of regret,

Beloved may be soaked in tears for some time

Then everything will be normal

I just can't be normal anymore.

Sometimes in the chat of a loved one

I will speak

Some will criticize, some will talk about mistakes

Some will even appreciate it

But that too for a moment, in the context of words.

One day I will disappear from the pages of everyone's memory

I will not be in anyone's mind

I was once someone of this world

No one will remember that.

Still loved ones, close friends and relatives

I had so many arrangements for everyone

Finding time even in busy schedules

How much more to talk, go for a walk?

Even living people get lost in the net of interests

far away,

The wall of interest is so high that even if he wants to

Can't be beat

And about the dead man, he is behind the oblivion

The dust left behind

By touching which the hands become dirty.

sad poetry
