Propositioned By Childish Man
You a ain’t got nothing that I need or want

Propositioned By Childish Man
You’re nothing special, stupid man,
You can’t have me just ‘cause you think you can.
I have the right to choose, dear freak,
And you’ve been chasing me all week.
Now do me a favour, I won’t brag or boast,
But I’m worth more than your drunk-man toast,
More than the lines you slur at night,
More than your ego, loud and trite.
You called me stuck-up.
I call it standards.
You said I should be flattered.
I say you should be embarrassed.
You think I’m prey? You’ve got it wrong.
I’ve been fierce and free all along.
So stick your pride, your stale old game.
I’m not some girl to shame or claim
You act like I’m supposed to melt
because you exist.
Like I’m meant to fall to my knees
at the sight of your three-inch self-esteem.
