Ode To Life, Extraordinary And Ordinary

Wishes on a petal, pennies from a well

fondly sentimental, surrender to the spell

Moments to hold on to, time just slips away

memories like a tattoo, left its imprints in its wake

Teardrops stain the tissue, laughter fills the air

melancholy miss You's, goodbyes without a care

Flowers on the table, Roses on the tomb

smiles when you are able, fragrance fills the room

Time flitters like the feathers on a floating hummingbird

entwining in a tether, emotions tied up in a word

Goodbye is never final, though the separation, hard

enjoying time we have, turned out to be Avant Garde

inspirational
