Pretty Eyes

Moon-Milk Eyes

Giant space lady, Moon-Milk Eyes

Space isn’t silent

I know, because you’re there

You must be leaping from moon to moon,

Making the most beautiful sounds

Music like no other

Dripping off Saturn and Mercury, you are climbing amongst the rivers of red and ice,

God, you have such pretty eyes

Brown and blue and white

Deeper than the vacuum of winter space,

Cold, so achingly cold

Bitterly, a hole in your heart sort of cold,

Emotionless to stop the pain, I sink into your Moon-Milk Eyes, oh sparkly space protectress,

You make me feel it all again, overwhelming with no more fear,

I wanna hold on so bad,

I wanna read your Pretty Eyes all day until forever, and feel that warm shadow your mountain-sized moon eyes denote,

Covering the earth with milky, achingly soft life

Please stop this silent attack, my heart hurts when you fill up my broken spot

When you fill it with your mushy, sweet space song.
