Prayed for in a Movie Theater
~

The two warriors whispered and prayed in another tongue.
Feeling the bending of my knees,
I swayed down to the movie theater floor.
A girl a few rows away had thrown up in a popcorn bag.
Manifestations couldn’t be denied.
The lights flickered and then the employees asked us to leave.
The next movie was supposed to be showing soon.
Deliverance shook me through and through.
Soul, desired to be anew.
I’m grateful to have had willing brothers who stayed and prayed for me.
It is likely that I’ll never see them again on this side of eternity.
States away from there, that same night,
my parents had been praying for me too.
