Porphyrophile

....

I try to write about you often

I take out my pencil and keep them sharpened

I put one line, a smile broadens

Laughter and anxiety, with overthinking as a topping

I felt so jealous when the sun kissed you

Till i saw the effect and wishes that's all it would do

I loves to watch you as you talk

Eyes fixed on your lips, lost in the way that they move

My lips wished it grew legs, jumped out and landed on yours

My hand moves to tuck your hair behind your ear, as i ignore all the noise

Leaning in as our lips rejoice while they interlock

Fireworks!, perhaps in preparation for a war

Interlocking hands, that feels so right that I don't want it to stop

Reminding myself not to fall, I am not emotionally strong

Trying to steal a kiss, not caring how I return home

I'll cross that bridge but I want to visit a world I can't hold

Day dreaming of a field or purple flowers that it is feels so surreal

I can't say the name I gave you without a smile sneaking in

Heart beat so fast inside

I crave to see your smile

Why does it feel so right?
