Poison
A love poem inspired by my "Writing Prompts for October" list
Loving you is like pure poison in my veins,
We attracted each other like a moth to a flame.
A pure toxic chemical match made for one another.
How could this possibly work when you'd rather be with others?
You can't possibly begin to understand the amount of pain that I must endure being yours.
Don't treat being with me as if it's a some chore.
Loving you was pure poison to my heart.
Being alone however was almost like an act of art.
I wish there was some form of antidote.
Some pill that I could shove down my throat.
I wish I could erase my mind and get rid of the way you made me feel.
Manage to try and find some other way to try and heal.

I have read a few people's posts in regards to this writing prompt challenge and I'd love to see some more!
Please feel free to comment on the original post or this one to make sure I see it as I will be picking my favourites from the month of October. I was hoping to find one for every prompt. Do one or do them all! Thanks for reading everyone.

Very well written, Chloe, and I hope the wounds heal.
Nice work Chloe! ..hope you don’t mind..possibly a small typo on the 6th line not needing “a” before some. 😊
Love hurts... ❤️🙄
Omgggggg! This was perfection! Every line was like it was picked from my heart's laments! I loved this so much!
