Poem for LINE: The American Martial Art

Poem on a martial art from the United States of America

By Doodly123Published 9 months ago 1 min read

The United States Marine Corps created a US-native close-quarters martial art known as LINE. LINE is short for "Linear Involuntary Neural-override Engagement" and is a hybrid martial art made from combining judo "hip throws", exotic kicks, and other forms of combat taken from other fighting styles.

The focus of LINE is to allow people to fight even if they are extremely mentally and physically fatigued. It is also focused on gender neutrality - allowing people of either gender to be able to use this martial art to potentially take down stronger, tougher opponents in a pinch.

The martial art was used by the Marines from 1989 to the year 2007 when LINE was replaced by a new military martial art called MCMAP. It was also adopted by the US Army Special Forces in 1998 and was used by them until the year 2007.
