A taste of salt, a scent of smoke
A sound of waves, as they gently stroke
The sand beneath my feet, a touch so soft
A sight of seagulls, soaring aloft
The salty taste of sea and sand
A smoky scent of a distant land
The sound of waves, so calming and clear
A touch so gentle, it takes away fear
The sight of a horizon, so vast and wide
A world of possibilities, waiting inside
The senses bring me to this moment now
A place where time just doesn't allow
To taste, to smell, to hear, to touch
To see the world in all its rush
The five senses bring me to life
A journey of wonder, a world so rife
So let us cherish each moment, each day
For the senses we have, don't fade away
In every taste, scent, sound, touch, and sight
A world of magic, a world so bright.
