Poem: Beauty and Beast
Uncovering the True Beauty Within
In a land of myths and tales of old,
There lived a beauty, with hair of gold.
Her beauty was known both far and wide,
But little did she know of the beast inside.
One day, as she wandered in the woods,
She heard a roar that echoed through the woods.
As she turned to see what caused the sound,
She found a beast, standing tall and bound.
Its fur was matted and eyes aglow,
Its claws were sharp, and its teeth did show.
But deep within its fierce exterior,
Lay a heart that was kind and pure.
Though afraid, the beauty didn't flee,
Instead, she spoke, "Won't you come with me?
I'll show you a world that's bright and fair,
And together we'll make a perfect pair."
And so, the beauty and the beast,
Set out to explore, to say the least.
As they walked, the beauty did see,
The gentle heart that lay beneath the beastly debris.
With time, they grew to love each other,
Beauty saw the beast as more than a brother.
And as they shared their love and trust,
The beast became less beastly and more just.
For true beauty lies not in the skin,
But in the love and kindness found within.
And though the world may see a beast,
Love can make it a thing of beauty, at least.
