Pockets of Time

Poem

By JAHAN ZABEPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

These Pockets of mine. They're pockets of time.

Filled with joy, soaked in sorrow.

Half empty with love, half filled with a shadow.

Remains of you, remains of me.

Those walks in the park filled with glee.

A warm embrace, my heart you did borrow.

Half empty with love, half filled with a shadow.

Light of your soul, the smile that I stole.

The darkness in me I could not control.

Forgiven yesterday, forgotten tomorrow.

Half empty with love, half filled with a shadow.
