What do you think of rainbows

a prism of light, a ray of hope

I see

In plastic they blot the skies out in a big ironic joke

In billboards ads and coupons, smiling for this month

And this month alone

get your rainbow colored anythings in your rainbow discount codes

And when the parade is over, confetti swept away from stores

The part been played for the whole year, rainbows not needed anymore

Gateways to moral marketing

Strategically placed

wearing skins of sympathy grinning big money grins across their face

Devils we know and don't are devils that may care

But never mistake a devil for a rainbow for a rainbow that was never there
