Jane is a plain name
It was there for you to use
If you wanted to lay low
But that is not the case
You cannot be contained
In those four letters
And yet they describe a part of you
The classic bit
Of strength and self-assurance
There are parts of you
I don’t understand
My fault, not yours
When frustration rears its ugly head
It goes inward as well as out
But my love is constant

Fabulously written!!! Loved it!!!♥️♥️💕
Great work!
“When frustration rears its ugly head It goes inward as well as out But my love is constant“. Wow… that’s so deep and relatable, it’s hard to feel both those things at once but they are both true!
This was so simple yet so lovely! Wonderful poem!
Lovely. I love the ending.
Dear Ms. Leslie - I once met a Plane Jane on a Plane - and we 'life-time' flew off together - Never to judge a 'Book' by it's cover - - Lovely - Jay
Very Nice
Someone famous asked, what’s in a name? ❤️. Lovely
