Pie Me To The Moon
Nowt wrong with a Wigan Pit. Nowt at all my Luv

Pie M To The Moon
There ain’t nowt wrong with a Wigan Pie,
Eaten under a moonlit sky,
And I will tell you why:
It tells a tale of work and grit,
Of steaming ovens, warmth well lit.
It’s not just food—it’s history,
A slice of northern mystery.
The crust made light with hands skilled,
The hearty filling, a hunger stilled.
Beef, potato, or even cheese,
A Wigan Pie is sure to please.
By cobbled streets or grassy hill,
Its magic works, it always will.
A humble treasure, loved so deep,
A bite of comfort, a taste to keep.
So take a pie, and hold it high,
Beneath the glow of a northern sky.
For in its crust, there lies a truth—
A Wigan Pie is food for youth.
