
Soft petals like snowflakes gently fall.
In a delicate last dance they float.
Like a final swan song before curtain call.
Exasperated by the sudden ending she wrote.
Now I know, no antidote can forestall.
Corrosion is inevitable, and compassion can be usurped by rot.
Endings are inescapable, despite gifts and forget me nots, like a petal love wilts and drops.
