PESSIMISM

Washed up on a silent shore -

Of envy,deceit and lies .

The broken heart of false promises -

Fade away and die.

The rain falling slowly , mimicking tears -

Like a bleeding heart caused by an act so lowly .

No time for hope in this cloud of pessimism .

Future gone in one full swoop -

The meandering stream of life and its disillusions.

And now i ponder my future goals

Will i ever get out of this big black hole

And then i see a chink of light

My soul uplifts and i take flight

The sun shines bright a ray of hope

Positive energy has awoke

Pessimism gone and hope prevail

My black period gone like a sorry tale!
