Perseverance

By Phantasma

Clare from "Claymore"

Perseverance is a double edged sword.

Pointed sharp at the mind leading down to the heart.

Perseverance is undying; it is just another form of self loathing where you allow others to push you down and walk along your body.

Enduring the shape of their feet as they walk, stomp, and jump is to feel the cuts caused by the sword because there is no fathomable way to say ‘stop.’

There is perseverance in wanting to save love.

With eyes full of pointed determination, there is no letting go of those who drag you down, no matter how the sword comes back to haunt you.

Endurance is suffering, pushing through the night, through all the misery, there is no quitting.

Do not quit.

Go on and on, no matter how badly the sword scratches your body, mind, and soul.

Do not forget the sword is double edged.

You’ve been cut so many times.
