This is to all the people that are
feeling lonely during the holidays.
I’m sure it has nothing to do with
your antisocial, awkward ways.
It’s fair game to say that you’re
the problem.
You can’t get anyone to stay.
Wouldn’t you agree that
everyone runs away
from you and that
you set every
room ablaze?
I bet you’re on your
balcony in a marijuana haze
and remembering the days
when you could attend holidays
with your friends and family.
I hope the recollection of
these faded memories
don’t cause you further
insanity.
Since the problem is you,
it can’t be solved.
Move on!
Accept your reality!
Who says there can’t
be a party of one?

This is a large oil painting and among his best-known artworks. In the painting, individuals can be seen walking through the Place de Dublin at an intersection to the east of the Gare Saint-Lazare in north Paris.
