New Reflections

Sometimes the sky splits wide open

and lets the rain come pouring down

Sometimes you hang on tight to hoping

in the middle of a break-down

*

Like words twirling in a vacuum

swirling like pebbles, all around

Searching for the right voice to come

and write the magical meaning down

*

Just the right fluctuation, emotions caught hidden, in sound

An astronaut stuck out in orbit, with no sight, of holy ground

These are the things I can only wonder at, watching beauty, as it's found

Embracing life's abundant reflection, so profound

*

I am an orphan, grown and raised

Now here alone to face the day

What once was known, is washed away

Where saints and angels go to play

*

And still, I know, all that I need

To stop my heart now, as it bleeds

Hope transforming now to peace

Healing the parts of you, in me
