Parents' Footstep

Everything has changed yet stayed the same

You still walk in the same path

Why or why not?

You are too slow to change, Sloth

You are waiting for the chances to rot

Still Parents' Footstep

Even waves wash them instant

Yes? No? may be or Yup!

Whatever washes till it is stagnant

Same path, behind them

Still searching behind for help

Everything has changed yet stayed the same

It is hot enough for the hearts to melt

I still cycle, looking behind my father

Still cook, bake looking behind my mother

I will continue rather

Change the path to the other

I want the same steps

That one minute

Still Parents' Footstep

Even waves wash them instant

Yes? No? may be or Yup!

Whatever washes till it is stagnant

Everything has changed yet stayed the same

It is hot enough for the hearts to melt

Yet cold hearts won't freeze your name

The way, Just how I felt
