Paradox of the Heart
Fear cannot exist where love lives.

Those who live in Love struggle to survive
Starved for affection and deeply deprived
Beloved children keeping their spirits alive
Abused, broken, cast aside and left to die
Abandoned for embracing the blessed birthright
To have and to hold onto the vital golden light
That shines within our heart and soul so bright
Bestowed upon us by the Infinitely Great Divine
Waiting patiently in abundance for all to find
Lays growth, wisdom, healing, and new life
Currently trapped in scarcity within the mind
Expecting depletion to suddenly strike
Are those defensively living in fight and flight
Stolen peace, diminishing faith and time
And so they race to steal the lover’s prize
Once taken for granted and left behind
